An experienced Communications and Marketing Professional with close to two decades of industry experience in Qatar spanning advertising, events, photography, publishing and public relations, including as media manager for the largest PR account in the Middle East – the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006, Bosco is a super-connector and networking genius.
A photojournalist and Founder of Bigbfotografi – the social media name he goes by that provides high end photography and social media management – Bosco has curated a multinational photography exhibition for over 30 photographers as well as co-curated an art exhibition involving prominent local and expatriate artists residing in Qatar, at the prestigious Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani museum, besides several photojournalism projects.
More recently, he was editor at large for a Qatari lifestyle magazine, and was among the first local photojournalists to document the Qatar blockade, that paved the way for a series of historic photo expos.
Bosco is also the Founder of #bigbmeetup – a Qatar based community outreach
initiative that prides itself with bringing communities together by way of inspiring,
educating and informing for the betterment of humankind. In Qatar specifically, the meetup’s riveting and refreshing topics with Bosco’s passion and earnestness shining through, strikingly different from what’s on offer nationwide, have made it a serious contender in the social activism sphere.
Bosco’s event and networking acuity comes from close to two decades of having organized or collaborated annually with over 50 exhibitions and conferences regionally and globally, covering over 15 industry-specific sectors while he was marketing manager at leading publishing firms in Qatar.
An ideas man who came up with the creative suggestion for Doha 2006 to name the streets of Doha after the Asian Games, Bosco continues to deliver original, inventive and thought-provoking projects with Qatar at their core. That he has lived all his life in Qatar and knows the business world closely has worked in the favour of his collaborations and clients. Bosco continues to grow his network taking his projects beyond Qatar’s borders, and with every new initiative building on his connections with integrity that is highly respected.
